– 2009 was a very good year for us. Susanna was in The United States during the spring and fall, away from the band, so Susanna Risberg Pop Band existed only during a period for four months in the summer. During that period the band performed a lot and recorded a new EP.

– One of the most fun experiences we had was in November when Björn came to visit Susanna in Boston, and we played a gig at one of the local clubs. Unfortunately Kim Söderström and Gustav Broman, the original members, couldnt participate, but instead they were subbed for by two musicians from Berklee, the school where Susanna is studying. It was a very interesting and fun experience.

And what about the future?

– In 2010 Susanna will be back in Sweden until september, and so the band will play as many shows there as possible. She also has been working on lots of new material and we are planning on recording our full length debut album sometimes before or during the summer.
