– 2009 was a year of expanding creativity for the band. Starting with the spring release of Burning forest Killer Zeus went on a early release vacation to Budapest, which turned out to be the location where in fact the recordings both were technically and spiritually finalized. Part of the summer was spent in a cabin in northern Scania recording more material, which later was compiled to the Matt Ellis, Budapest single. During the year Killer Zeus performed with, amongst others, Kristian Anttila, the Swedish national pop-star. The band also expanded to new territory, playing in Gothenburg, Helsingborg, as well as Malmoe.

And what about the future?
– 2010 will continue to be a search for the perfect sound, the perfect band, the perfect song. Hopefully in the future we can summarize 2010 as the year Killer Zeus made itself a name, big time.
